TRUE FITNESS with Mado Hesselink: M, W, F 8:15-9:45 True Fitness offers ongoing classes 1, 2, or
3 days per week. Classes begin with an easy warm up and then move into a short (10-20 minute)
maximum effort workout designed to build strength, increase cardiovascular output, and ramp up your
metabolism. Thoroughly warmed up, participants then move into a slow deep yoga session that
culminates in meditation and relaxation. All this occurs in a community centered and non-competitive

Tai Chi Chuan Yang 24 Form with Jan Gillespie: Tues. 11:45-1:00
This ancient Chinese martial art is low impact aerobic exercise, suitable for all ages. The slow graceful
circular movements increase oxygen flow resulting in mental clarity, cardio fitness and improvements in
balance and joint flexibility. Studies have shown Tai Chi practice reduces the possibility of falls as well as
arthritis pain. This moving meditation is a simplified form for beginners!
Primordial Qigong with Jan Gillespie: Fri. 10:30-11:45
Rhythmic gentle movement, combining Tai Chi and Feng Shui and an ancient aerobic qigong from
Wudang Mountain in China, opens joints, relaxes muscles, softens the heart, frees the mind, and
improves balance. Performed in beautiful circular patterns, easy enough for beginners, the class also
includes floor work for optimal rejuvenating chi flow.
